My dog had his ears done in Houston by a vet the breeder uses. I took him to my vet yesterday and he had a infection and the vet removed the wraps. my vet refuses to touch his ears and the breeder is 6 hours away. I found a vet in Dallas that does do the ear crop and I was going to call Monday and see if I could take him in to have them reposted etc. Do must people post on their own or take to the vet to have them done? Any advice appreciated.

  Poodle Friends.......Not a poodle question but someone who needs some help. I have a friend with pure bred dobermans that are experiencing congestive heart failure. They are young and from different breeders. They are both so sick they are thinking that they will have to say goodbye to them soon. First, do any of you have some FB pages that might be able to help her nurse them back to health. I have suggested bone broth to start them eating again but know little about heart failure.   Have her contact the breed club. Most conduct studies and maintain data bases of medical issues that are common in the breed. Also try the following websites. Dobermandata.com, cyberdobes.com, and dobermantalk.com.
