  Okay friends, I have to pick a new doctor for my kids. Devan is 16, so if he has a pediatrician, he'll have to change in 2 years. Any suggestions on who is a great family doctor or pediatrician for my two teen boys? We have Dr. Hutt at the moment, and do not want to use him any longer......any other good suggestions? I am looking for someone who is nice, conversational, and diligent about health, but not not someone who is a jerk about it (we've all had jerk doctors). Suggestions? Any hospital/clinic/office in Rockford works.

  My kids have seen Dr Renk since some of them were born. We transferred to him after two other drs retired. He is high energy, great with the kids and good. He told my oldest she could continue to see him no matter her age. He is with Swedes. 815 636 6400. Right next to RVC.
