  We use Takepawsmadison.com. We have 4 dogs and Scott from Take Paws stops out every day during the week and let's our dogs out. He is awesome! We have used them for about a year now and couldn't be happier.

He's extremely mellow, and very friendly, although he gets a bit territorial over his bed and sometimes marks it if other dogs are near. My first thought was to board him, but he recently broke his tail (ridiculous, right?) and requires a little extra attention because of that. I want to make sure that wherever he is, there is someone checking on him regularly enough that if something goes wrong with the tail, it will get noticed and addressed. We live in the Willy St area, and we're happy to drive in either direction for boarding. We're also considering getting a dog walker, so the pup can get a little outside time during the day while we're at work. Any positive or negative experiences with dog walkers in Madison?

  For dog walkers, I have had a great experience with Take Paws (http://takepawsmadison.com). The prices are reasonable and you get a discount if you need someone five days a week. Dogs are all walked individually for 30 minutes or get a quick let out and indoor play time if it is too cold.
