We took our dog to the Dog Den (http://www.thedogden.com/training_classes.php) and they were great. our dog really responded well to that (she had shy dog issues). I always hear fantastic things about A Dog's Best Friend (http://www.dogsbestfriendtraining.com/) as well. They are a little pricier, but folks say it is worth the money. For daycare/boarding we really like Camp K-9.

I have used [Dogs Best Friend](http://www.dogsbestfriendtraining.com/) with good success. They also do behavior mod. For affordable puppy day care for dog socialization I have heard nothing but good things about [Hickory Hills](http://hickoryhillskennels.com/)

Waggin Tails in Fitchburg, in with the fitchburg vet. Hell, *I* would stay there. Our dog happily runs off with an attendant when we go, not so much as a goodbye....

We have had good treatment at both Waggin' Tails (on Nesbitt Road in Fitchburg) and at Dogtopia in Middleton. Both have boarding + doggy day care. Also I believe Spring Harbor Vet Clinic (on University Ave, just before you get to Middleton) does boarding as well.

My pup has medical issues, so when I have to board her she goes to Pineview in Waunakee (her vet, also has daycare and boarding). Waggin Tails is attached to Fitchburg Vet. If you'd prefer to have a vet around, those might be good options. The folks at Charlie's bark park are great as well.

I also have a greyhound! Last time I was in Madison, mine stayed in Verona at [Paws Without Borders](http://pawswithoutborders.com/). She loved it, the owner is excellent- she sent a few photos of my grey playing outside, and gave me plenty of updates about how she was doing. She only takes a few dogs at a time, so they really get a lot of attention. I recommend it 100%.

For dog walkers, I have had a great experience with Take Paws (http://takepawsmadison.com). The prices are reasonable and you get a discount if you need someone five days a week. Dogs are all walked individually for 30 minutes or get a quick let out and indoor play time if it is too cold.
Does anyone know of a nice dog walker/sitter that could spend about a half hour with our puppy, at around lunch time?

We use Takepawsmadison.com. We have 4 dogs and Scott from Take Paws stops out every day during the week and let's our dogs out. He is awesome! We have used them for about a year now and couldn't be happier.
