  Any recommendations for a vet who is good with older dogs? Monty is 14. Our current vet is ok, but says some things are because he is getting older, but doesn't suggest things to make him more mobile or comfortable. When we were on vacation and Monty had a severe leg pain we went to a vet out of state who talked about maybe keeping him on a low dose of the anti inflammatory/pain pill after the acute period and that he does dental care/anesthesia on older dogs like Monty (who needs teeth cleaning badly), using some different anesthesia protocol/monitoring for older dogs. He is too far away to go back to see. Can anyone recommend someone like that vet in the Duluth area? Thank you.

  www.holistic-vet-care.com Dr Levy is the only vet I would go to as she is not going to load you up on chemicals, vaccinations, pesticides. Especially with a tiny tiny breed like you have. Vets give the same amount in a vaccination as a 180# dog. Think about that one for a minute 😔. Before I knew better my #4 lb Riley had seizures from over vaccinations, flea, tick chemicals. You are Emily’s advocate so do your research. I have some great sites to read if you’re interested.
