  Question from a mom: "My 18 month old is having trouble speaking and is showing signs of early Autism. The specialist that saw her told me to find a good speech therapist, and also to have a hearing test done. Does anyone know of any good places in the Volusia County area that have speech therapy and hearing tests for toddlers? I'm also willing to drive farther for a really good speech therapist. I have nothing both positive things to save about her, her staff and her office.

  From Amy Diana Bloom Semel: Hi! A few weeks ago someone mentioned a vibrating vest that could help relieve mucus and congestion. My NG tube fed 8 month old is constantly coughing and snotty. Can anyone recommend a particular brand? Also, can they be covered under insurance? On another note... has anyone tried VitalStim for themselves or their children? I know of a therapist by me who does it on infants, however, she does not take insurance and we definitely cannot afford to pay out of pocket. My daughter has silent aspiration of unknown etiology. She also has Craniosynostosis.
