Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
CharmandHappy.com started party entertainment for family events in Pico Rivera, CA. After a couple of years, founder Carmen Tellez began to travel nationwide attending events to entertain with her growing skills and growing team of artist entertainers. 2009, she gave birth to her son and has since stayed local to SoCal, yet still providing event entertainers to other major cities in the U.S.
Describe a typical work day for you?
A typical work day consists of answering phones to reserve future dates for private parties and company events, with clients entertainment needs. On event dates, each artist entertainer makes sure their face paints are clean, their variety of balloons are full, the games have all components, and the puppets are ready to sing, talk, story tell, play and joke around. After the show, we make sure our goodbyes are sincere and recap the good fun and lasting memories were created.
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
Enthusiasm and inspiration to entertain as an artist is drawn from happy places within my life, past, present, family personalities, friends, people I've seen or met and imagination.

What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
My most memorable experience on the job was the week tv producers Pie Town Productions televised my educational time at Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp.
