  Hello everyone, I'm trying to to get my visa started for a winter vacation in China. Google doesn't offer much insight because there seem to be a lot of sites saying yes you can apply in person or no you can't, you have to use a travel agency. None of them have a solid price or document listing either. Can anyone who has either gone or who has started the process shed some light? I have an ARC that is valid until June of 2015 and American passport is good until May of 2017. Please and thanks!

  Korean websites I have found are 80% of the time cheaper than foreign sites like Kayak and Expedia etc from my 5 years of living here....also the airline websites themselves. Try www.onlinetour.co.kr

  Soho Travel http://sohoholiday.com/ : are well known to be very good with prices and get back promptly. However , Korean websites like www.onlinetour.co.kr I have found are the cheapest in price (compared to western sites like kayak / expedia etc) or the airline`s own website.

  easy enough to do on your own...book through a Korean site like onlinetour.co.kr as 99% of the time it`s usually cheaper than an agent....but if you really need a travel agent then I`d highly recommend Soho Travel who are prompt with replies and speak English well.

  I've usually found Korean websites like onlinetour.co.kr .... whypaymore.co.kr the cheapest about 80% of the time compared to the foreign ones. Otherwise kayak is your best bet I'm afraid... or the airline website directly.
