I'm planning out a diet for my mum (a cancer patient). I have done some research online, some recipes stated pineapple is good, but some stated pineapple is not good due to high sugar content. Even carrots have high sugar content. I have some questions, hope the members here can help me out. Many thanks in advance
1) Can I purple carrots and orange carrots? Any difference in juicing for cancer patient?
2) Soursop - It's expensive, near to RM10 for one. Anywhere I can get it cheaper ?
3) Should she eats pineapple, like maybe once a week?
4) Beetroot - I read in article (lost the link, have to find again) , the article mentioned that after juicing beetroot, have to store it in the fridge for 30 minutes before mixing with other fruits/veggie for consumption. Is it really necessary ? I don't see this point being mentioned in any other article.
5) Ginger - If you did use ginger in blending juice, do you use young ginger or the old ones?
6) Kale - I hardly sees it in hypermarket. Where can I get it?
7) Should I add in seeds like flax seed , chia seed?
Hope you can share with me the recipes you guys had / prepared for cancer patients, and how often they can consume it. (daily, weekly?) . TQ!
