Is there a place in Ruidoso that is pretty, with a river or lake for fishing(a river is better), can good alot of people. Close to a town with a motel/hotel. Convenient like Red River?

  when we celebrated our 50 th Anniversary, two years + ago, our kids rented a FIVE bedroom condo in Cloudcroft. It was great--close enough to White Sands, Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, etc. Never a dull moment. Suggesting you go to: Cloudcroft.com, or something similar to check them out. Not right in town, but close. We overlooked the 8 th and 17 th hold of the (then) highest gold course in the world from our deck.
