About us
My name is Debbie Silon, I have owned and operated Little People's Express since 1994. I have experience with infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children and have experience in all modalities of care. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood and focus on the children having fun and learning at the same time.
Little People's Express is like a home away from home. Our primary goal is to help your child develop to his/her fullest and give your child a positive, meaningful learning experience where each child is given the utmost care and meet each child's needs.
The mission of our program is to provide the children/families with a physical environment that is clean, safe, healthy, and secure. In our facility we will provide a home away from home nurturing atmosphere with quality care. We will give the children opportunity to have fun and learn at the same time by participating in stimulating activities that allow exploration of experiences to guide them to succeed. All activities will foster the children's independence, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. Little People's Express Day Care intends to achieve its mission statement through:
~ Complying with the standards of NYS Regulations
~ Developing strong positive caring relationships with parents and child
~ Meeting the needs of the children/families
~ Making a child's earlier experiences away from home comfortable, safe and meaningful
~ Applying educational planning in classroom setting that is developmentally appropriate
