The selections and price were not the greatest for hardwood as I'm going to try my hands at furniture. Any recommendation on where I can buy hardwood (maple/walnut/birch etc)? Good quality and good price would be a plus as well! Thanks!

Looking for any great furniture stores in Edmonton to visit. In particular I'm looking for a dining room table that serves as my only dining space in my house so has to be somewhat practical. I love Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware and more of the distressed looking wood but not necessarily "restored". I have small children and so "spills" are a reality but I also don't want to totally sacrifice what I love for something they can destroy. Happy medium? Any suggestions?

https://www.facebook.com/urbantimber I bought my table from these guys! They custom made it for my space. I ordered a piece of glass to cover it while my kids are small then we'll take it off once they get older. It's a beautiful piece of art with lots of history too!
