About us
My name is Ashley. I started out decorating about years ago and created Lily White's Party Cakes. When I had 8/10 people call an ask for Ms. White or Lily, I decided to change the name to Mind Over Batter. About 3 years after working out of my home and then a small commercial shared kitchen, I was approached by someone wanting to purchase MOB and open a retail location. I agreed and continued to work as the manager and cake decorator. I quickly realized that I could not do both jobs, which meant that the decorating part had to be passed off to someone else. Not happy not getting my hands on cakes anymore, I decided to leave and go back to what I really love - weddings and large events! So here I am, back to my original name, and my original kitchen - my home! I hope you enjoy my page as it reflects my journey as a decorator!
