  Hi! My family is new to the area and we are looking for some recommendations for a couple things. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good vet in the area that is reasonably priced (we have a golden retriever). And then also for swimming lessons for our boys (3 and 7). We want to ensure the swimming lessons are not just fun and are actually teaching them to swim. Thank you so much!!

  DeLand Animal Hospital. Over the years we've used AA and DeBary. AA has terrible reviews. DeBary is OK but their prices are outrageous. We used Countryside many years ago and they botched a neutering on our GSD so bad he almost bled to death. We use DeLand because they do 3 year vaccinations for the same price as others charge for 1 year. Also Dr. MacPhail is the best surgeon in the area and they are open 24/7. They are currently in the process of opening a second hospital as well also in DeLand. Call them and tell them John McIntosh referred you. http://delandanimalhospital.com/

  Looking for recommendations for boarding dogs and cats in Deland/Orange City/Lake Helen. Thanks. Clarification: We actually have used Spring Oaks in the past and have been happy with them. However, we are looking to board 3 dogs and 2 or 3 cats, and they are not cheap. We are hoping to find a less expensive option. :)
