I NEED A VET NOW. horse is choking. Numbers please!
Donna T. replied:
I lost a horse to choke after months of trying to save her. Turned out she had a huge ulcer and strictured esophagus. Try Shannon Luznar New Smyrna Beach 386-663-5115
Donna T. replied:
My vet cleared it many many times. Fed her sloppy mush for a month. Still choked. I ended up at Ocala Equine Medical Center for a scope that determined the issue. It's a very scary thing to see them choking. Its also very gross if all their feed/hay is coming out of the nostrils. I hope you get a vet quickly and that your horse is cleared. Prayers.

Dr. Matt with Volusia Vet Services, he sees large and small animals. Last Sunday our shepard pup got bit by a rattlesnake and we went to the ER clinic. I called and left Matt a message at the office so he could follow up with the clinic on Monday, he called me back 5 minutes later! Not only that but he cares and has always gone above and beyond to help all our animals! I've had Matt help us before and after hours 3 times this year and he has always been available.

I took my cat up the vet clinic at U University of Florida in Gainesville. My cat ended up having surgery for hip dysplasia which is extremely uncommon in. They were wonderful and I had a senior Professor surgeon. The drive was a pain but for us it was worth it. There is also a very very good Animal Hospital in Deland that you actually referred me to University of Florida and they were excellent and also do holistic medicine. I will look up their info and get that on here.
Monica F. replied:
Highly recommend Dr Erin Holder. She actually diagnosed my exotic cat with the hip dysplasia and then referred me to UF clinic for the actual surgery. Check out their website and reviews online http://floridawildvethospital.com
