What happened to you is becoming very common unfortunately, you click a link to call and get re-routed to an out of state call center, or call a number that looks similar to a legitimate business and it calls what we call "locksmith scammers". These are unlicensed individuals that have used intimidation and other practices to charge exhoribitant prices, often after tearing up what they were working on. You're fortunate they didn't come out. This has happened more than once and is very frustrating for customer and us as well. Our phone number is 615-444-1414.   I'm looking for a locksmith who programs key fobs. We need a second one for the new SUV (we all know my record with keeping up with keys!). I know I can buy them online and have them programmed by a locksmith, and I used to know of one in Cookeville that programmed them but I've forgotten which company that was. With this vehicle you can only program them yourself if you have two fobs, and we only have one. Any recommendations?

  Update: thank you all for your assistance with locksmiths. Unfortunately do to our vehicles being older they have to be reflashed which is extremely expensive ($450 through Donny's and $850 through Toyota / not including towing charges) luckily we are working with our insurance company, hopefully we are covered or can get coverage so we aren't eating such a chunk upfront. I would suggest all of you check your insurance coverage, especially if you have a older car. Looking for a locksmith. We have lost the keys to our Toyota sequoia and doors are locked.. We've called a few places and unfortunately the prices are extremely high. Our insurance company reimburses us to get the doors unlocked but not for a new key. Our car does require the expensive
