  Microcell is what you are after as far as plasti-dip and available in "the area". There is a manufacturer in Austin Tx called Poly Plastics that sells 2 to 4 pound microcell foam under the label MC-1900 (2 lb) MC-2800 (3 lb) and MC-3800 (4 lb). You buy them in 4 x8 foot sheets of whatever thickness you want. They can cut it into blade width strips for you if you like as well so it is easier to transport and you don't have to worry about cutting the huge sheet down to usable lengths.
