  Had my share of saddle fitting woes. Now I have it right but need new parts..This lovely cinch came with my saddle when I bought it. Its the only one that has worked for my horse. 2 inch buckles, 24 inches buckle to buckle, with one set of buckles being shorter at 20 inches. Its getting thin and needs replaced but carries no maker or identifying marks. Anybody know where I can find it? Fits on my Len Brown Ortho-Flex Traditional .

I want to get some joint supplements for him to help the stiffness and loosen him up, any good and inexpensive things anyone would suggest ???   I have both my horses on Corta-flex with the HA-100. It is one of the only joint supplements that has poured their money into doing research. They guarantee their product or they reimburse you. I have a 15 year old OTTB who has had back problem after hock problem after everything. I have had her on Cosequin, Adequan, prescription medication, glucosamine (scientifically proven to be like water now), smartpak supplements and non of them worked like Corta-flex but it must have the HA. I swear that it is the only reason why she is sound. I have two other horses at my barn one 24 an older quarter horse who was a big time reiner and a warmblood who was a big time eventer. Swear on my life it is the best thing ever

  I use Smartpak supplements for my guys. Depending on your budget, the Resilience is great, or for cheaper the senior supplements (get the herb-free if you're competing at shows that drug test) have great levels of the important ingredients. The senior kept my old guy moving comfortably well into his late twenties

  About 5 months ago I rescued a 15yr old TWH Mare from a meat auction. I knew nothing about her or the breed, her situation and her eyes broke my heart and I had room in my life so I took her. After a clean bill of health from the vet, a chiropractor and numerous trainers, i've been working with her under saddle. She is an angel on the ground. Vet, Ferrier, ties, baths, tacks and can sit all day on her, BUT ask her to move out and shes all go go go. Can get her collected for a minute and she feels great, but in no time she's back into this sloppy mess we call a "Trait". Again I know nothing when it comes to the gaits of a TWH or how to help her with this. Im considering finding her a forever home that loves gaited horses. I do however want to keep working with her until that day. I will try to get some video to post soon, until then, any suggestions? HElP! Im in Saugerties Ny if anyone knows of a good trainer for gaited horses in my area, much appreciated.

  Another thought www.smartpak.com has a great monthly supplement of vitamins to calm down a nervous horse . call them 1888 677 3411 to talk about your horse and they will ship you samples . If in 2 mo . it has not worked they will refund all . My horse does not need grain, just hay . I can use smartpacks for any special needs of a horse at what I would normally spend on grain .
