  My grandfather opened many Piggly Wiggly stores in different areas in the 50 s, until he started his own grocery store chain in the 60 s. grin emoticon

  Piggly Wiggly is weird enough but I worked at a store called 'Wackers' in Hobbs, NM. It was like Woolworths, or Shultz's, a five & dime. What a weird name!

  Our old Piggly Wiggly is now an awesome restaurant but they did leave the "Piggly Wiggly" name up on the inside.
