  The only bus service that I know of in this area is City and Rural Rides (CARR). They don't drive to DFW or Lubbock, but I think you can get a ride to Abilene (not 100% sure about that). From Abilene you could take the Greyhound to either location. I've never taken this bus, so you should contact CARR for details regarding time and costs. http://www.cityandruralrides.com/
