Seamstress/tailor recommendation? Does anyone have a suggestion for an affordable seamstress/tailor? Preferably Near West End (even more preferably surrounding Willow Lawn/Libbie Mill). Thank you!

Oksana from [Fashion Design](http://fashiondesignva.com/) gets my vote every time. She's slightly on the pricey side, but hands down the best in town. Spend the slight extra; it's worth every penny to have her work on it.
Tailor recommendations? I need to get an off-the-rack suit tailored (i.e. sleeves shortened, pants hemmed, waist suppressed). Could anyone recommend a quality tailor in the Richmond area?

[Oksana at Fashion Design is great](http://fashiondesignva.com/). More expensive than most places, but she's done several suits for me that have all come out great.
Recommendations for a tailor who just "gets it?" I order some of my suits online, and I need to find a tailor who a) isn't trying to sell me something and b) understands how to size for a modern/ slim suit. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Oh yes. Let [Oksana](http://www.fashiondesignva.com/) hook you up. She is totally professional and it's clear that she knows what she's doing. She has a steady, loyal customer base. Her prices are fair. I would call for an appointment, though, because she does a lot of business, so if you don't want to wait too long, let her know you're coming. She altered my bridal gown, so I visited her shop on numerous occasions. During one of my fittings, she was tailoring a guy's suits for him. He requested the same (slim) fit you are asking for and looked flawless as she tucked and pinned him up. Seriously, go to her. I can't say enough good things about her.
