  Enjoying reading all the posts especially the cheaper/free places to stay tips. I've got a 1988 2l petrol T25 veedub. It's the high top auto sleeper. I love it to bits but it's hefty on fuel. Prob only 20 to the gallon. Has anyone had or know of anyone who has put a diesel in theirs? I see them in the mags but not sure if it's worth the cost overall. It's my primary vehicle too so used as my runaround. Any feedback or pointers would be very appreciated. Thanks
