Insurance advice Does anyone have any recommendations for good value bike insurance, or should I just trust myself to the comparison sites?
For context, I'm a 33 year old living in Scotland with a car, a clean licence, and a NCD as long as your arm, who has just bought a 125cc bike to practice on while waiting to carry on towards a full licence.

I would look at sites that are dedicated to bike insurance specifically, www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk , www.bemoto.co.uk, www.carolenash.co.uk and Bennett’s.co.uk. I have used Bemoto for years and don’t have a bad word to say about them. I’d also look into transferring your car NCD to motorbikes as I’m sure some insurance companies won’t let you transfer over and you will basically be starting with 0 NCD again. I do know some will allow you to though so look into the specific companies I mentioned. Good luck on the full license.
Are Insurance Comparison sites the best place to look for Motorbike Insurance or are there any specialists that don't include themselves on these that I should look at?
