Haven't bought a new suit since my Uni Graduation and even then it was just mix & match jacket & trousers from M&S - going to be interesting... Frantically reading GQ guides etc! Any sartorial masterminds out there please hit me with your wisdom (and maybe any decent local tailor recommends...). Thx

  Get one tailor-made. Try www.asuitthatfits.com - had mine made there. They send the designs and size details to be made in Nepal. So less pricey than other places.

  I got my last suits (the wedding ones!) from A suit that fits - - http://www.asuitthatfits.com/ - they measure you up and then have a trained team of Nepalese midgets to make them up for you. You pay a bit more than £200 ( I think they start at about £280) but it'll fit well! I went to the studio just by Piccadilly Circus. I think I have a "recommendation" card somewhere which gets me a royalty (which of course I'd pass on to you)!
