ISO reliable, dependable and trustworthy HVAC company. Looking for a mom and pop shop, not the big box guys (they've left us broke and hot)! TIA

Our heat went out. Any recommendations? Thinking it needs a new switch.

we use Georgia Comfort. The owner used to be a client of my husband's and he is a great, honest guy. We have been nothing but pleased with them. http://www.gacomfort.com
Day 5 without heat in a rental house. Space heaters keeping it somewhat comfortable. Any HVAC recommendations? Landlord out of the country and need someone soon. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving!

My water heater pilot light will light the flame but won't stay on. Need to find a reliable, affordable, and trustworthy person to come fix it please! Any recommendations?
Jim D. replied:
Likely needs the thermocouple replaced. Basically it's the little brass tube that runs from the pilot light out to the valve. Has a sensor on one end that tells the valve that a flame is present. When you hold the button down you're overriding that sensor until it gets hot. I'm sure Bobby Amos could help with it. If he's busy, call Georgia Comfort. Www.gacomfort.com. Good guys!
