Recommendations for mite treatment in the US(Wisconsin) Kitten revolution is not available without a prescription here. Found two little scabs on one of my boys so I would like to treat them right away as we are welcoming 4 new girls in about two weeks. Also I have a dwarf hamster which is kept in a separate room would I need to treat her as well?

Kitten revolution is the safest, second would be the topical ivermectin. You can order the revolution without a script from Canadavet.com but it takes like 2 ish weeks to arrive. If possible I’d order some to have on hand because mite infestations can happen pretty easily. Amd your ham should be fine. The mites are species specific.
Do any of you know or a cheaper source for heartworm/flea preventive pills? We have 4 dogs and the vet charges $40.00 per dog/per month! We are new to farmsteading and looking for a source that won't cost so much!

We use Canadavet.com. It's cheaper than anywhere else that we've found.

I've used canadavet.com but I wasn't convinced that it was real meds, so now all of my dogs (17 of them) are on Ivomec (like the large animal Ivomec) as a heartworm preventative, and yes before anyone asks I did talk to my vet about doing this, and I haven't had any problems! Nexguard works great for fleas/ticks but it's pricey, so I usually buy a topical from Tractor Supply (usually Sentry).
Does exist any Vet in the in the city where I can get just a simple "flea and tick" drops control without taking my dog to all that BS year check up thing?
One of my dog has a bad reaction to the shots which I do not give it to her anymore and also I don't really believe it neither I feel they need to...and I hate going to the Vet where they really push you to have their teeth cleaned and blood work done every single time I go.
I like to take my dogs only when I really need/have to.
Does anyone know a good Vet in the hood whom doesn't push or force you to those things?
Thanks

Or buy it online? Www.canadavet.com or any other online store?
Someone recently asked me where they can get flea medication for their cats. I recommended revolution but not sure where they can get it online. Anyone have a good website they have used in the past?
Where is the best place price wise on line to purchase heartworm preventative pills and flea and tick meds for dogs? Wanting to purchase as two separate items so a prescription is not required. Thanks.

I buy mine at Canadavet.com. you don't need a rx to purchase the heartworm med from here.
ISO: Comfortis. Where can I find this flea medication for my cats without breaking my pocket? I have 3 cats, and can't really afford $60 a pop for all of them but I know there are other places I can purchase it for less than that. THANKS!
I saw someone that asked before about a site where u can order cheap advantage for cats but I can't remember the name of the site and I would like to buy some if anyone knows it please let me know :) TIA

I went through canadavet.com and got a great deal on Revolution, which deals with worms and stuff too. It's vet recommended.
Hey guys, it appears that Felix has mites. I've seen a lot of posts about kitten revolution, but I've also read about revolution cat. What do you guys recommend and how much and where can I get it? Do I have to take him to the vet?
