  We want to do a side return extension but are looking to keep costs down as much as possible. Has anyone used an architectural technician/ technologist to do the drawings/ planning submission etc instead of an architect? We know exactly what we want to do so don't need design ideas, just someone to draw it up and sort building regs/ planning application etc. Any advice/ experience greatly received!
