Ahoj,
Best intensive Czech course companies? Want to start in January, few hours a day kind of thing.
Thanks
PS - Before the boys jump in, I know the best way is to get a Czech girlfriend but my wife won't allow it

I highly recommend Czech Language Training. You pay month by month and you can take months off and jump back in where you left off. They have weekday and Saturday options. http://czlt.cz

Can anyone recommend me a good language school to learn Czech?? I am looking for lessons early in the morning of after 6pm. Thanks!!

I just completed 2 back-to-back classes at http://www.czlt.cz/ which is the Czech for Foreigners institute. I can't speak to all teachers but I had a great experience having Krizystina for a teacher. I started with very basic understanding of Czech language and was shocked how far she got us in what was essentially 4 weeks of 5 day a week 3 hour classes. Highly recommended
Can anyone recommend a good Czech language CLASS or school? Thanks!

I did a 2 week intensive class at http://www.czlt.cz/ and it was definitely not a lecture, we all spoke, it was very interactive, teacher was great and 3 hours always flew by. To prepare for the A1, right now I'm doing private conversation lessons with a teacher from http://www.cicpraha.org/. If your first/primary goal is the A1, I would definitely do classes with them. They know what is on the test and also what you do not need to know- the level of grammar they're testing etc. This teacher is also perfect- we have a lot of fun and I've learned a lot.
Czech language schools (especially for intensive courses). Which ones do people recommend?
Anthony L. replied:
It depends how much time you have. If you have several months to a year, then I recommend UJOP Albertov (part of Charles University). This really took me from basic survival level to a solid lower advanced level. http://ujop.cuni.cz/strediska/praha-albertov If you only have a couple of weeks, then CZLT offer some great short intensive courses, and I found them really helpful when I was starting out: http://czlt.cz/
Can you please recommend a place to take Czech classes? A good quality program that is well priced. I'm looking for something fairly intensive with classes minimum 3 days a week and at least several hours long. I live in Prague 2, so something convenient would be good, but I certainly can commute a bit for a good class. Thanks!!

Hello, who can recommend me a good Czech language teacher or course here in Prague? What are the prices? Where the lessons take place?
Thanks a lot!! :)
Morning all. I am looking to start going to a school to learn czech. I want at least 2 lessons a week. Small class or private. I have looked at a couple. Idealy I want at least 1 class to be in the weekend. I do not live in prague, I live in pardubice. Late evenings won't work then. Any recommendations would be appreciated and anything closer to home would be fantastic. Thankyou all hezky den.
There are so many Czech language schools but I heard that many not that good or professional. Can someone from experience recommend school (needed for beginner level). Thanks in advance.
I guess I should pick Czech back up. Any suggestions for private teachers?
Jennifer H. replied:
Www.czlt.cz it's a school but you can have private lessons as well. Their main benefit is that you pay on a monthly basis, so you can jump in and out as needed.
Ok. I'm now ready to take CZech classes... But I don't know where to go?
I want to take an afternoon class with multiple people. 3-4 days a week
Any suggestions please
And thank you
Hello, I'm looking for learning czech very fast :) and wondering if some of you have good contact for schools or teachers really good at. Thanks for your suggestions.

http://czlt.cz are really good. Highly recommend these courses. Beginners are extremely lucky to have my favourite teacher with them now. The best is to do it every day, of course, but twice a week plus small revision/homework should progress you too.
