  Good luck! I had similar problems. For me the rashes didn't go away until I changed all of my beauty products (so expensive, but worth it). The inside of my mouth was itching at one point- ugh. There are many other undiagnosed-for-years celiacs like us suffering from these symptoms. I have it under control now. Look into The Low Histamine Chef on FB and here: thelowhistaminechef.com. She has been most helpful in understanding what is going on and how to combat it. My version of this is mild and it took about 6 months to turn it around. I am a fair skinned redhead sensitive to many things, the first seven months were great then in late September I started experiencing angioedema and hives. I took meds and tried to stop it but it continued for 7 weeks, then I had enough and received a prednisone injection. Exactly 1 month later when it wore off they came back so I got another shot. The second shot gave me many side effects and made me feel awful! Now 1 month later the angioedema and hives are returning. I am interested to know if any other expat has experienced this? Many Ticos believe it is tomatoes as they too will get angioedema of the lips from tomatoes at certain times of the year, this had me thinking pesticides and end of rainy season runoff? Also does anyone have a good recommendation for an allergist? Thank you
