Dana Johnson yes we are in coffee, sugar cane and cheese land! Not to mention the volcano blowing off lately. We are about 20 minutes up the mountain from Aquiares a coffee community. About 30 minutes from sugar cane. My sister is looking for property here in CT but not near us...I may need to go stay with her to see if I am better. We rented for this very reason, to move if we needed. Currently we are awaiting the arrival of our somewhat organic garden. By somewhat I mean that we are organic but the soil is probably polluted and truly organic takes years to clear the soil. We are not doing a complete soil replacement but have added organic top soil.

Bill Nixon great tip! I may just do this to all veggies! My body has always been an alarm system...harmful ingredients in skincare or haircare products and I get a rash! The one thing I did not consider before moving here; plus I did not know how bad pesticide use was before I arrived! Thank you!
