I have heard that there were some issues in his past - I can't personally corroborate, but probably advised to either double check before using him, or make sure there are a few people in the house when he comes.

He has fixed our washing machine, air conditioner, dryer, and dish washer. In addition to being good, he is honest. When the problem was something small like a missing screw, he didn't charge us anything.
