  We have a puppy 1 1/2 years old that we just adopted from the SPCA in Cleveland, TN. He is very good and loving most of the time, but once in awhile, he does not like to either put his leash on or take it off. He will growl and snap at us. Does anyone around the Seymour area have any rescues that might have the same problem? He bit me Friday as we tried to get him from the front seat of the vehicle to the backseat. I am a little tense when trying to leash him now. He loves my husband and eats out of his hand. He will let me love on him one minute, then in a little while, he will snap at me for touching him. We have only had him since last Wednesday and have fallen in love with him. Is there any dog trainers on here that could give me some advice?

I would like someone with experience board and train who maybe understands my issue before I spend $400 + on those escape proof kennels.
