  Hello Cat-Loving Community! My boyfriend and I took in a kitten back in September when he was approximately 4 months old and he has been an absolute joy these past few months. On a recommendation from a coworker, we have been going to Petmania in Nişantası. The staff have been lovely so far and very caring, but I wonder if they are over-charging us/over-recommending us for some things. For example our cat must get a "drop" for fleas in the back of his neck every one and a half months, and we have had about 4 of these so far. I have also scheduled an appointment to have him neutered on Saturday for 250TL. I understand that there are clinics that will neuter rescues for no cost in the city, but I don't mind paying either. I was just wondering if 250TL sounds about right for the procedure. (By the way, I am not trying to skimp or cut corners on the operation! This is just one of the few price quotes I have received in advance from their clinic compared to in the past.) If anyone on here has any information regarding comparables, or recommending vets (preferably with some English) in the Nişantası/Taksim/Şişli area, it would be most appreciated!
