Anybody got any advice on IT band problems. I'm trying to get training for a marathon with Cash in May. Managed to grind out eight miles today but it was really painful and I had to stop running and walk a number of times. I've tried giving it a bit of time off as many sources seem to suggest (probably not enough but...) a number of times and I've also had advice where people have just carried on, added a bit of foam rolling and stretching and they've ploughed right through it and it's gone away. Ideally I want to avoid stopping running for both mine and Cashs sanity! Anybody here had any issues on those longer runs? All thoughts gratefully received.
