  I have been a Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) member since it bought my local Fitness First in Lockwood. They all have classes, and some of the centres have pools with fitness classes in the water. Here is the KAL website: http://www.kirkleesactive.co.uk/ I love KAL gyms and classes.

  You can pay on the day yes, if you go to www.kirkleesactive.co.uk you can download the timetable to see when the sessions are. The pool is at the bottom of town on the ring road. It's closing ready for the new one that's being built but think that's around May.

  www.kirkleesactive.co.uk. Gym memberships start at just £9.95 a month at Deighton Sports Arena which includes gym and classes anytime the centre is open. A peak membership which includes spa facilities at the Stadium in Huddersfield is £34.95 a month this includes access to 12 centres,fitness classes, swimming and gym. An off peak membership starts at £19.95. Lots of memberships to suit all budgets!
