  She can try Ladies of Charity or Big Brothers of Nashville (now called Needlinks). 615-269-6835. They sometimes have money to assist people with their electric bills. I can usually only do it one at a year, but if she has never tried it though, I would suggest to laced giving them a call. Or, my suggestion is to just go to the phonebook and try various churches. Unfortunately It's really difficult thing to find someone able to help in one day, much less even a couple of weeks.
