Congress Inn on Dickerson Road might fit the bill. I haven't been by it in years, so maybe it has been updated. Somehow I doubt it. Loveless has a neon sign. Hickersons Motel Court has a neon sign and is as scummy as they come. (No pun intended.)

Just go to Donelson Bowl or Beaman off Broadway instead of the Drake. That place is a shithole of the highest order and no one should ever willingly go there. I've been there twice to pull people out of rooms where they were nodding off. It's a god damned nightmare.

Check out the Hickerson Motel on Nolensville Pike, just south of Nashville (probably take 20 mins to get downtown due to traffic, but you can Nashville skyline from down there). Passed it on the way to Plaza Mariachi last night and wife and I both said "ew gross Motel.... oh wait that's not so bad" as we passed it driving. May be what you're looking for, but if not sorry for wasting your time!

Not rural but Spence Manor Condos on Music Row has a guitar shaped pool. The Ramada next to LP Field has one as well, but it's indoors.

The Salon Professional Academy in Donelson does something called "total look models" for free at certain times of the year. Call up there and ask to speak with Ms.Brown about when they are doing it. They are always looking for models.
