  i used thundershirts for my furbaby and it worked quite well. she still panted and was stressed...but she didn't do the crazy running and hiding that she used to do. I hope people celebrate on the 4 th...have a good time...and then let that be it! when it drags on for weeks it is hard on dogs and humans!

  Beth Wiersema you can leave the thundershirt on for several hours....two of my four saints are petrified of storms and fireworks....I use the shirt (although it doesn't work that great for mine) and xanax which helps immensely....sadly we are having lots of storms lately and I am using it like candy

  Already asked this in a few places, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me on my German shepherd collie cross, he has a bad case of separation anxiety. I've tried crate training, he just makes a mess of the cage and tries to knock it on its side to get out, kongs, which he chews through and desensitisation.
