I really like [All Dogs Allowed](https://alldogsnc.com) in Cary. They offer a variety of training classes for dogs, but they also offer seminars for humans that help them better understand their dogs. I was really impressed with what I saw and it really helped us improve. They really know what they’re doing.

Couldn’t recommend Liz from [Animal Insight](https://www.animal-insight.com/) highly enough! She does personalized in home training tailored to whatever you want to accomplish with your dog. Through Liz, we learned how to read what our rescue was trying to tell us when she encountered other people, other dogs, or just strange situations in general. With the foundations Liz taught us, we’ve also been able to teach her tons of adorable tricks too. She is the best

To everyone in this thread, a heartfelt thank you. Who knew there were so many options available in the triangle alone. The Mrs. and I are going to check these over together tonight and pick our trainer! Thank you all so much for your help and personal insight.

I love Off Leash K9, Raleigh. I just put my third through the program and I love it. My current dog goes to a weekly adventure camp. They pick her up once a week and take her hiking, swimming, dogging. It strengthens her training. My new pup is going to their puppy socialization camp and it’s been great, too.

We used Jeff millman for our training in house. He's really friendly and worked out really well for us. Highly recommend. I think he has about 20 yrs experience. https://www.jeffmillman.com/

Rob Masters (Dogs Listen to Us) is excellent. His reviews on Yelp seemed too good to be true, but he exceeded our already lofty expectations for our two dogs. He does private lessons and board and train. He’s based out of Durham.

We worked with [Topline K9 Solutions](https://toplinek9 solutions.com) and they were honestly very great. We had a very nervous three year old poodle prone to a lot of barking and hiding when we had ANYBODY not myself or my partner in the house or yard. It made any landlord visit or repair visit a nightmare. After three sessions and a check-in, she’s not a nervous wreck anymore and has started letting our friends near her. Our house is quieter and our dog is less stressed 24/7. Cannot recommend them enough.

Jackie’s Basics and Beyond in Cary is wonderful. I believe the only do group classes though. They are positive feedback/treat based!

Kelly Drake ....AWESOME!!!! too funny.....seriously Drake and Gibson need to get together. Drake has torn most of the back yard up so I feel confident at this point no grass is ever going to grow! Smart dogs=big problems. Zeeke our terrier is too stupid to do half of what Drake does.
