Bat-Motion Fitness is a Personal Training and "Feel Good" company based in the Sutherland Shire - run by myself Gavin Butler and Tina Huntingdon. We provide a combination of fun and fitness for all ages!
I have been involved in the fitness and sporting industry for over 25 years, training with and learning from some of the elite in the their chosen professions. Ranging from Body Building, Rugby League, Swimming and Muay-Thai Kick Boxing. I have also gained much experience from many different training methods and styles along the way, mainly weight and strength-training as well as HIIT (Hi-Intesity Interval Training), Fartlek Training, Plyometrics just to name a few. As well as this I am fully qualified Cert. III Fitness Instructor and a Cert. IV Master Personal Trainer qualified through the Australian Institute of Fitness.
Bat-Motion Fitness offers many different proven methods in getting people fit and healthy every day, while at the same time having fun in a very welcoming and social atmosphere as well as a popular blend of music - making your experience one to remember whilst building friendships and fitness along the way.
We conduct a wide range of options for anybody interested in getting themselves into shape. Our current schedule is as follows:
Mondays - Welcome to Fitness class! This class is for the beginner and "new to exercise" individual for all ages. The class has an intensity rating of low-moderate, runs for 1 hour and is lots of fun! The class features a combination of circuit and bootcamp style training and for just $5.00 for the session it's great for the budget as well. Each Monday night session is held in various locations around the Sutherland shire.
Tuesdays - Up the tempo class! This class is for the more advanced mover and groover and as the name suggests we up the tempo a fair bit and get you really moving into that next level of fitness. really get your heart pumping! These sessions are by appointment only, are $15.00 per person and also conducted at 6.00pm at a location to be announced.
Wednesday - Our second "Welcome to fitness" class for the week! Same place and times are as Monday and again the session is only $5.00!
Thursday - Cronulla running for beginners class! This class kicks off at 6.00am starting from North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club. We then make our way around to Shelly Park, discuss some running tips once we get there as well as performing some other various running exercises before making our way back. Please note that this is a beginners class and regular stops will occur along the way as part of the program. The cost of this class is $15.00 per person.
Friday - Up the tempo morning class! This is our second "Up the tempo" class for the week, this time based at Shelly Park in Cronulla at 6.00am. The class has the same intensity as our Tuesday session with similar exercise add ons involved. Again the cost of the class is $15.00 per person and is by booking only.
Saturday - Boxercise class! This class is low-moderate in intensity with a wide range of boxing training techniques involved as well as a bit of light cardio. The reason this is a great class is that its designed to not over-work you but more so to energise you, having you feeling great for the beginning of the weekend! This class runs out of Shelly Park in Cronulla and kicks off at 8.30am and is just $10.00 person and again is by booking only.
Bat-Motion Fitness also offer one-on-one personal training to help you REALLY hit your straps! I conduct these privately either in a park, in a gym (Strong Fitness in Caringbah) or in the privacy of your own home - great for Mums with Bubs! Each session can have up to 3 people which is great for the budget, as you can split the cost between yourself and two friends.
