  My family is looking for a med/lrg size dog. Must be kid and other dog friendly. We don't have any dogs but there are many in the neighborhood. I'd like to find one that can be left inside without eating the walls while no one is home, and not a runner (bolts out the door as soon as its open even if they were just walked) no pit or pit mixes because of BSL in my town.   I'm posting this for the KC Pet Project. Their volunteer coordinator has a potential project for whomever is willing to do powdercoating. "We get a fair number of rusty, but structurally-sound, cages donated. We could purchase equipment to sandblast them fairly inexpensively. Does anyone have an in with a local powder coating company that might donate coating services if we did the prep work?" Is anyone interested in helping the KC animal shelter? Call the main shelter & talk to Kelly Walsh if you'd like to help them.

  Haley Carpenter kc pet project has tons of kittens, yes their adoption fee is $50 but they are spayed or neutered, age appropriate shots, microchip and 30 day pet insurance. Getting a free or cheap one is going to cost you $400 in vet bills
