  Does anyone know of a child or 2 in need of some toys? We are trying to teach our 3 year old the importance of giving even if we cannot buy new things. Rather then taking things to a thrift store, we would like to find a family that could use them. Especially around Christmas time. Age range would be newborn-2 years old. Thanks in advance!

  I work for an infant and toddler program, for children birth to 3 with special needs, developmental delays, etc. We have families that would love donations - we always accept things on a routine basis and as families need things such as toys or clothes we pass them along. I could really use some mommy friends with tubies and help with finding/ navigating the systems around here to get everything set up and recommendations for a good pediatrician and an amazing feeding team for my son.   I need some help understanding something very very confusing.... So....I live in Henrico county and have a 16 month old who needs early intervention services. Most likely he will need occupational therapy and speech services. Does anyone know who pays for those services? Does the county? My private health insurance? I don't get it? I've heard some moms say that the county services are free whereas others say that there are income limits.
