Need A Plumber Can anyone recommend a good plumber? I was trying to clean up and tighten the drain pipe under my kitchen sink when the metal portion coming out of the wall broke.
Is Angie's List worth it in St. Louis? I have some repairs and improvements I want to have done around my house. Previously I looked at online reviews on places like Google Maps for people to hire and that hasn't worked as well. I was thinking about signing up to Angie's List but I didn't want to pay for it to find out it sucked. Anyone use it? If so what are your opinions?
Alternatively, if anyone knows a good plumber or fence company around Maryland Heights I can kick the initial question down the road.
UPDATE: Between reddit & Twitter I ended up finding people that look reliable to do the work but I had quite a few people on both say that Angie's List is very useful in St. Louis so I think I may sign up next time I'm looking.

Thome Plumbing - www.thomeplumbing.com Steve from Thome did some work for my folks recently, and he really went above and beyond the call of duty for them. My very picky, very handy father was impressed. Would do business again.
