  Hi! Looking for some recommendations from those with Celiac Disease. Recommendations for general practitioners/GI doctors in the Newtown area who focus on Celiac. Also any pediatric GI suggestions would be great. There used to be a Danbury allergy-based community group, which was great but I believe it disbanded long ago.   Years ago my daughter saw Dr. Jeffrey Hyams in Southbury. He's a pediatric GI doctor. (Not for celiac though) I see Dr. Steven Gorelick in Danbury and like him very much. He's part of Western CT Medical Group. I went to the Danbury support group when I first moved here and it disbanded shortly after that. I tried forming a celiac support group in town but it was difficult to keep it going. I've heard that the Greater New Haven Celiac Group is very family oriented and kid friendly.
