  I used myvietnamvisa.com for a visa-on-arrival in 2012, no complaints, very straightforward. Just be aware that you can only do visa-on-arrival if you're entering Vietnam by plane, if it's by land you need to go through the Vietnamese embassy directly. Also your entrance fee into the country ($25 for single entry) must be paid in cash in US dollars only.

I would also like my information private, I don't want the company issuing the same certificate to 20 people (some companies issue 1 certificate for multiple people and passport info and names are on the certificates)...   Yeah I'd also recommend visa-on-arrival, it only cost me $20 to the company and $25 for a single entry visa (in cash, USD only) when I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. The company will email you an "invitation letter" to Vietnam, this works like your visa until you arrive in Vietnam (you'll probably have to present it when checking-in etc.), at which point you're issued your proper visa (takes about 30 minutes, single or double entry are available).
