  Oh man I feel your pain. I have the exact same issue, if you want anything other than plain Vans for sneakers, running shoes, or those awful square toed things... Online isn't that much help either, at least in South Africa - the usual suspects listed in another post don't really cover the big sizes. Two options that will work: Check https://www.mensshoecentre.co.za/ - they are pretty quick, and stock big sizes, but their selection changes all the way and isn't consistent. They do carry Converse, definitely the hightops. Set up an account on https://www.myus.com/ and go crazy shopping on Amazon. Remember US size 14 = UK size 13, which we use. Good luck :)
