  If you are anywhere near Summertown, you HAVE to go see Ina May Gaskin at the farm http://thefarmmidwives.org/ You could also check out the midwives directory http://tnmidwives.org/directory If those don't work, find a la leche league meeting. They will typically know the folks in the area.

  Amy, There is only one professional homebirth midwife that I know of in the Knoxville area. She can peruse the Tennessee Midwives Association online directory of midwife members at www.tnmidwives.org/directory. Kimberly
