  Help please! I'm looking for a pet micro-chip reader that can read AVID microchips . They are the 9 digit encrypted microchips commonly used in Asia. Does anyone have a reader that I could borrow please (just for 24hrs) or know of a vet somewhere in the Paris region that has one? I'm shipping my cat to Tokyo and the 9 digit chip has to be successfully read here otherwise she can't go.....not an option!!. Most vets here have only the 15 digit ISO readers and they don't work so I'm getting a little bit worried! all ideas gratefully received..Many thanks, Jane
