Sharon Bailey and I are going to London this Saturday for the weekend. Can anyone recommend which museum to visit please. We're thinking either the British or Natural History anyone know which would be best or something else even better cheers!

I second the V & A. It's like the 'bit of everything' museum, for me the highlight are two massive rooms called the cast courts. Basically the Victorians went around making plaster casts of the architectural highlights of Europe - Michaelangelo's David, arches the size of Marble Arch and columns as big as Nelson's which have to be split in two to be accommodated! They all look *exactly* like the originals. Quite extraodinary. There is also one smallish room of paintings but what a room! Turner, Raphael, William Blake. If you're organised you could do an hour there, have lunch and do science or natural history in the afternoon, they're only down the the road from each other. If you like brilliant tapas there's a wonderful restaurant Casa Brindisa in South Ken v close by http://www.brindisatapaskitchens.com/casa-brindisa/ I would tells you some great jazz clubs for the evening as well but I fear that might go unheeded... Have fun mate x
