Looking for a good Moroccan restaurant in Kensington. Something around high street Ken would be ideal, but not a deal breaker if it isn't.
Cheers!

Sahara on 39 Hereford Road W2 (close to junction with westbourne grove) is cute and nice, you can take your own alcohol. Not High St Ken, nearest tube in Notting Hill, but only a short walk up that amazing embassy road, or ken church st. Has a nice feel and atmosphere, quite a few couples. I don't know enough about Moroccan food to judge the food, but thought everything tasted nice.
Can anyone help Sharon Day with this?

The only thing I’ve ever heard about teens-only shows in the general area was that Kim Kane told me stories of seeing bands at church dances near the bethesda YMCA, including a band called The Huns which was at one point managed by Bud Becker (the guy who booked the Wheaton Rec center shows/dances). That’s not far from Kensington even though it’s bethesda. Anything from that era would be much appreciated. I have a nice WJ yearbook from a guy who was in a band circa 1965 called the Viscounts with stories from friends about local dances which seem to be in north bethesda. Would be really interested if people could pinpoint where this teen club was.
